In short: our patterns are digital PDF downloads for your personal use. Once you start downloading, you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel, but if there’s ever a problem with your file, we’ll put it right.
1. About us
Book Folding Patterns (bookfoldingpatterns.com) is run by RLM Connect, 20 Thistledown, Pershore, WR10 1FL, United Kingdom. You can contact us using our contact form.
2. Our patterns
All patterns are digital products supplied as PDF files. Nothing physical is posted to you. Each product page lists what the pattern needs, such as book height and number of leaves. Please check these before buying.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Our patterns use “Name Your Price”, so you choose an amount from the options shown on the product page. Payment is taken at checkout and your order is confirmed once payment is complete.
4. Delivery
Your pattern is available to download immediately after payment. A download link is sent by email, and your files are also kept in your account under Account → Downloads.
5. Your right to cancel
Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, this right ends once the download begins, provided you have agreed to this. By ticking the box at checkout, you agree that your download can start straight away and you understand that you will then lose your right to cancel.
6. Faulty or missing files
If a file won’t open, is incomplete or doesn’t match its description, please contact us. We’ll send a replacement or, if we can’t fix the problem, give you a refund. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
7. Personal use only
When you buy a pattern you receive a licence to use it for your own personal use. You must not:
- copy, share, give away or resell the pattern or PDF file
- upload it to any website, group or file-sharing service
- claim the pattern design as your own
All patterns and website content remain the property of Book Folding Patterns.
8. Our responsibility
We take care to make sure our patterns are accurate, but results depend on the book, materials and technique used. We are not responsible for damage to books or materials. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
9. Your personal information
We only use your information to process your order and respond to your messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
